Protect Yourself

You can prevent the gathering of information that is “harvested” about you based upon your cell phone signals! It is simple with these products.

These inexpensive Faraday cages (in the form of bags for personal electronic devices) provide protection from surveillance that utilizes the signaling of your mobile phone or other communicating devices. As an added bonus — of greater value, in my opinion — the Faraday bags help to shield your mitochondria from the effects of electromagnetic radiation, including troubling effects on human reproductive systems.

There are many sources of information about Faraday cages, including instructions for DIY projects. But if your main goal is to shield the signals of your communicating devices, these bags from amazon.com will do the trick.

Pictured below is the smaller of my Faraday bags, with my iPhone 11 Pro inside.

To block signals, the device must be inside the inner metallic cloth liner.

Any time I want to go “off the grid,” I can slip my phone into one of these bags. Each night, I disable wifi and set our mobile phones and tablets into airplane mode. The alarms continue to function, but electromagnetic interference is removed. To fully shield my phones, I recommend this two-pack of Faraday bags for cell phones to block the electromagnetic fields that my phones emit.

To shield my tablet and my laptop computer, I use and recommend a larger Faraday signal isolation bag for bigger communicating devices, and plan to buy a second one of this size for traveling with both.

As these Faraday bags are RFID blocking, you might want to stash your credit cards in with your phone. Don't forget to drop your signaling car keys into one of these bags as well!

Be sure to check the size of your laptop and other devices before ordering. The dimensions of the large bag are 13.8 inches by 17.7 inches.

Another privacy concern is the cameras on your computers, laptops, tablets and other personal devices. I love these little sliding camera covers that easily attach and cover your camera whenever you want to ensure that nobody is viewing whatever the camera can see.
